    Hey gang, I'm building an axe with a single humbucker and I am wondering if there are any wiring options that would use a Gibson 3 way, or for that matter a Tele 3 way or Strat 5 way switch. I'm using a Tele control plate and dang it I don't want the switch to just sit there taking up space...

    LP Fretwire... what's up?

    I talked to a guy at Jescar www. jescar. com -- he says they've been supplying the wire to Gibson for a couple of years, and the standard size they use is .90 wide x .55 high, like Dunlop 6105, but their wire is slightly harder than Dunlop.

    Another Dillion, forgot I had this one on the wall: it's called the DS-533, which is their take on the 335. All maple. Super glassy tone with a few very sweet spots on the neck--it really sings.
