Up for sale is my 2002 Gary Rossington Custom Shop Les Paul, aged by Tom Murphy. This one has a particularly nice flamed top on it, and comes complete with original Lifton style case, and display case for wall mounting. I have many detailed photos of the guitar for those interested that i can...
What I meant to say was “if you have my generic plans (which I think you do) than you have the specs of this kit.” In other words this kit is made from my generic plans.
If the guitar is Indian Rosewood, and was purchaed before jan 1st of this year, just use your recipt as proof that it is legal, and you're fine. If its brazilian, it can be more difficult to prove since you'll have to prove it was harvested before 1974.
most customs officials are not looking to uphold the letter of the law necessarily but rather the intent of the law, so i would wager a guess that you probably wouldn't have trouble, but if ever a customs officer decided to, they could simply hold the item until the correct remits are presented...
You can travel with your own personal guitar across boarder, as long as you list it on your declared personal items form (in Canada that is called a B4 form i think.). Also, you cannot bring a guitar back into your home country without first bringing it out with you.. in other words, you cannot...

The side dots on all gibsons (including the white side dots on Jr's and explorers etc.) are also cellulose nitrate.
Les paul binding is...

no, a neck will not develop this problem from being used in a different body. It can develop this if the truss rod is tensioned but it has no string...
Thanks Guys!! i am always embarrassed reading these story's, so when Pete told me it was posted in here for some of my luthier friends to read, i was a little embarrassed, haha.
Thanks for the comments guys.
