Dad and I built this with the guidance of Melvyn Hiscock's "Make Your Own Electric Guitar", and a lot of head scratching and wondering between 1993 and 95.
The fretboard is a gibson scale ebony board from Stew-Mac. The hardware and fretwire is also S=M.
The pups are a set of Gibon 57 classics bought locally, as were the electronics.
The woods are walnut, red cedar, and something dad called beanpod wood that dad had milled from some timber harvested off my uncle's farm that was going to be part of a county lake. The inlay is ivory salvaged from a 19th century upright grand, as is the nut.
