I just read the article from the post above, and it looks like China has been working on a similar, if not exact chimeric virus since 2015. It is now clear that either they purposly, or accidently let the virus escape from P4. I'm not sure I believe any lab has created a vaccine either! probably propaganda to keep the population calm.

Why would they be working to create a virus and not also be working to create the vaccine to go with it? Wouldn’t someone have said “Hey maybe we need to be working on a vaccine too, in case it gets out of hand”? Or am I smarter than all of those people?

Well, I thought about that too. It seems as though there may have been a vaccine, and after saying the California Lab story was likely BS, I thought that it could have been that quick, and easy, and that the ChiComs have enough vaccine to cover those they deem indispensable. It was the way they kept saying that they didn't think the bat virus would jump to humans and the lead scientist had written a paper on this in 2015, then when the outbreak started, she changed her opinion 180 degrees, and held off on news about the outbreak until her subsequent paper was accepted on January 29? It's so difficult to believe anything about this other than I'm almost certain it came from the lab on purpose, or by accident, and like they said, they didn't know which way it would move. I feel like this was a planned experiment gone awry! it doesn't seem to add up any other way.

This thing is terrible, I’ve been on a couple planes this week and am sick as shit with a cold or the flu, I don’t think I have The Who flung poo flu, but some sorry bastard gave me something.

I can’t imagine how they’ll contain the thing, there are cruise ships with hundreds of cases, cities shut down, flights to countries cancelled and it’s still spreading.

I was talking to a very wealthy client yesterday who has his main plant in China and ships their items here to their processing center for shipping to US clients. They have been closed down since January 23rd and are not expected to be open till March 1st over there at the earliest. And with that they will have to only be back at 60% of their workforce, cause if you work out of the area you can't come in. Only immediate residents of the area can go back to work. They also have to stop twice per day for disinfecting the plant. He said containers of shipments are sitting in China not being allowed out. While he has some product now, he will be on empty by the time things are released to get here. He said luckily he knew Chinese New Year was coming and they basically shut down for a week anyway so he over ordered before this happened. He also mentioned that while the stock market is doing quite well he said come May this will show its effects. Was a very interesting conversation I had yesterday.

Our work is in the same situation, our factory is in Shenzen. They still don't have clearance to open and we are starting to run out of some stock lines, we've been told our next shipments are due in early March but I really can't see that happening

I've seen so many numbers thrown around that I did the math myself and confirmed that the mortality rate is around 2%. In the US, we've had about 20,000,000 cases of the flu. If we had 20 million cases of CORVID-19, that would be 400,000 deaths! I sure hope someone is telling the truth, and there's a vaccine that gets fast tracked.

It's going to take a long time for things to return to how they were before the virus hit.
You can bet if China moves work to Africa like has been talked about this exact same thing will happen there too

I have a coworker going on a cruise next week, and another coworker going on a cruise next month. Ain’t enough money in the world to get me to go on a cruise ship right about now. I probably wouldn’t be interested anytime, but definitely not now.

No freaking way would I get on a ship with 6000 people on it without the virus. Unless you've got big bucks, you get stuck in an inner cabin with no windows, and stinky air. Now, it's a death trap!

The number one excuse for developing offensive bio weapons is "We're looking for a cure." It is how countries get around the Biological Weapons Convention ("BWC"). If they are simultaneously developing a cure, they undercut the reason for their primary actions.
