Ok. Let's play a game. For every documented case since 9/11 you can provide of passengers on a hijacked aircraft fighting to overcome hijackers I'll provide an example of a hijacking where it did not happen.

There should be many, many, many instances where passengers have intervened of course so maybe you guys could even do 5 interventions to 1? But let's see how it plays out.

You may safely assume that if I'm on a plane, and someone tries to hijack it, I'm willing to die in-air trying to defeat them. I think most Americans feel the same way.

I doubt it has anything to do with being American or not.

And while a great number of people would fight like hell (I know I would), we cannot make that assumption about everybody especially without knowing the exact situation up there.

Let's say the plane was hijacked and those who did it somehow managed to get guns on board (which is not exactly out of the realm of possibility in non-western countries). At the time at which they decide to hijack the plane they stand up, take out their guns, and immediately shoot the five people closest to them. How much of a fight are the others likely to put up then?

Or say they had grenades, pulled the pins, and told everyone to do what they said or the grenades would be dropped thus blowing holes in the plane, depressurizing it, and causing it to crash? Are those people likely to fight back then?

Now I am not saying either of those scenarios happened, I am just pointing out that, without knowing exactly what happened or what those on the plane were facing at the time, we cannot make assumptions about how they would have, or should have, reacted.

Fox is saying now that the West's focus is on the southern arm of the arc they have been showing, which sort of goes against the zigzag back to the north they have shown after 370 came back across Malaysia.

From what I can gather, the arc shows the distance from the satellite when it pinged, but not the location, and a Fox expert is saying that the US and other countries focus is on that southern arm, headed towards Australia, and not the one headed to the northwest from the last known radar location.

Starting to wonder if passengers and crew were all debilitated, the plane traveled until out of gas, and the plane went down in deserted waters.

Big area that is not traveled much at all.

News of wife and family moving out give more credence to suicide, than family conspiracy.

I think the USA know more about it than Malaysia.. I have been chatting with friends about this story and its just odd, I bet plane is landed somewhere being prepared for some sort of attack.

Or Malaysia may have know it could have been a threat,and had it shot down and this is a cover up? Or Aliens took it
