So I got what I believe to be a Gibson Les Paul Tribute that had mini humbuckers installed. Came with the original P-90s as well. Im thinking the official color might be honeyburst. Any info or input is appreciated. Thanks

Next question is- This one is from 2011. I suppose the finger board is baked maple and not rosewood?

The 2011 raid wasn't until august. Your board does have a light color, but I thought early ones like yours with the light back were all rosewood. Checkout your s/n for the date made. Prior to aug 2011 would be rw for sure.

Yes Honeyburst, although the headstock looks to be black. BTW dat is one beautiful guitar. I love the look and sound of those mini humbuckers.

That is probably one of the nicer looking studios I've seen. Usually they don't stand out to me.

Well, the guitar dater said this,

"Your guitar was made at the
Nashville Plant, TN, USA
June 17th, 2011
Production Number: 207"

The light was strong in that picture, so what do you think. possibly rosewood? Also, how do you tell if its a 50's, 60's, or 70's tribute. This one originally came with p-90's. Thanks

Les Paul Studio 60s Tribute (Limited Edition)
Rosewood fingerboard, says Sweetwater / Baked Maple, says Gibson
Twin P-90s
Chambered
60's Slim Taper Neck

Interesting, because the photos of the guitar do not have the truss rod cover plate engraved.
It is plain. Another mod, I suppose.

Thanks. Yes the truss cover was changed but I have the original as well. I plan on putting the original pups back in and trying a mini humbucker in my telecasters neck position. Looks like the pots and switch were upgraded by some renowned guyed named zo. Plays and sounds great though. Thanks for the help.

I had a first run 60's tribute and it had a rosewood fingerboard, but maybe the first run was not the same as the limited run that Gibson shows on their tribute page. I do know that the dark back versions were baked maple though.

See the "wh" part of the model #? That's the color code. WH stands for Worn Honey Burst.
The "CH" stands for Chrome Hardware.
The"1" means that it's a factory 1st quality.
