OK, should be getting my 70s Silverburst ($529) tomorrow which brings me up to 27 guitars. So when is this madness going to stop! Now I see GC is going to be selling the Studio Deluxe Ice Tea for $999 with case. Love it! So today I am going through some of my girls to see if I can weed any of them out and love them all. UGH!

If you've got the space an the money, there's no such thing as too man. I've got about 1000 sq ft to fill with guitars and amps, so I've got a long road ahead...

My wife and I both suffer from chronic Illnesses, so we dont have the space or the Money, It would be a different story all together if the situation was different. God Love her though, When I got my prognosis, she let me go out and buy a mid life crisis car ( new camaro ) at age 35, and she just bought me my first gibson, so I cant complain really

4 Gibsons Some Epis, PRS, ESP, Ibanez, SVK, Agile, and Xaviere. I look at them like woman. All these have something going for them that attracts me. Price is not one of them. I have worked with each one to bring the best out of it and all play very well.

4 Gibsons Some Epis, ESP, Ibanez, SVK, Agile, and Xaviere. I look at them like woman. All these have something going for them that attracts me. Price is not one of them. I have worked with each one to bring the best out of it and all play very well.

what do you think of your Xavieres? Ive owned a couple agiles in the past and loved them all, still own one, and Have bought some pickups from GFS for a couple projects, but never have pulled the trigger on an Xaviere, They cost so must less then other well made Koreans, that I worried it was to good to be true

I have two of them both XV500s and they play and sound great. Now they are not as polished as the Agiles but I think they sound better. Below is my Lemon Drop.

I'm in the same boat. Got a GT 70s yesterday. I also got a Trad plus, used 08 Standard and new Standard in a month span. It started out with the Classic Custom's price cut. I'm now at 7 Gibsons which bring my total to 17 electric, 4 acoustic and 1 bass guitars.

I know this "problem" . It all starts very innocent with one guitar a few decades ago and over the years it went: "Oh, this Tele is nice", "I have to buy this 335", "Another Les Paul is great" and so on .
But all in all I was strict to myself and learned that some ladies have to go if there should be another .

I once worked with a guy (he played in a heavy metal band) who owned 105 guitars all pointy headstock superstrat types. They were all from one manufacturer too (can't remember the makers name). Now that is a little obsessive. 27 different guitars seems almost reasonable by comparison. At least you can pull out something to get a different sound.
