Its the internet man, need to take everything with a grain of salt.

Some people Troll for fun, cant let that stuff get to you.

Don't blame GBB...I'm the one who did it.
I'm no troll but something "rang a bell" in my memory so I posted the link to that post.

Jes' sayin...he said it himself.
If the boogerera makes him happy as a happy meal, then why even post in the phaez thread?

I'm guilty of jumping in on cheap mass produced amp threads but I really try to control myself,
just doing it for the protection of those who are under the illusion that just because it makes good sounds...means it's a good amp.

Nothing he said "got to me". I laughed when he said it. When the link to that other thread was posted, I laughed harder.

You cats are pretty cool, and you GET IT!

Well I'll just disrobe my prom dress of virginity and just assume you are talking to the likes of me, and hip, and some of the new guys that have
decided to take this on.
I'm no pro builder and I appreciate what you guys have risked.

I'm still in the comfort of my garage and just do what I do.
Which only makes me appreciate all the more just what folks like you
and Randy do.

For someone who loves his MIC unserviceable stuff (even I will admit that junk SOUNDS OK) to just say "I won't buy it"...is the straw that breaks my back.

Seriously, throw mine off the back of a truck, it might not work...but it wouldn't take much to bring it right back.
Same with most of the others that build the right way!

You most certainly "get it" and I'm glad you guys stick up for all those trying to do something of value with a sense of pride in their work instead of companies that only care about "the bottom line". That "bottom line" many times leads right back to China, try getting some of those amps fixed in a hurry!

MrTommy is in the audience, awed by the performance of a little-known band whose guitarist is this generation's Paul Kossof. Suddenly the guitarist passes out from heat exhaustion, and the bassist asks if anyone in the audience would like to fill in.

MrTommy demures, and passes up a chance for sure fame and fortune - because the guy's been playing a Phaez and it's the only thing to plug into.

That reminds me of the Corey vs. Santana thread. :laugh2:

Im not trolling, I have heard them and personally to me just sound like any other amp...So if you do not like my opinion then maybe it is you guys who should grow up...And no, They are not bad amps, But not for me to warrant a purchace, I like to buy cheap amps and do them up (Bugeras, Fender Champs etc). Its is my PERSONAL opinion about the phaez.

So what if I use 18 gauge strings, Its called personal preference....
So we want to hear them, that's all. In my mind's ears, all I can make out is this:

What brand are these 18 gauge strings you speak of?

Man, I thought SRV had sausages for fingers to be able to use 13's but you would need Gorilla hands to use 18s.

Custom wound at the Rotosound factory here in the Uk. Made to my specifications as 18's are not sold already made anymore. (Rotosound & Fender used to make them).
