I like the Fat Sandwich, but that wasn't even close for Cheap Sunglasses.

Does anyone have any new / current suggestions on a ZZ in a box pedal? I'm thinking; just got paid, waiting for the bus, nasty dogs and funky kings, cheap sunglasses, I'm bad, I'm Nationwide, Thank you; type tones. I'm playing a CR9 through a Vox AC4.

Those are nice, but that's about a $1,000 box (amp)......I was thinking a smaller $200 box (pedal). I do like the low watt tube amps though, I have a Vox AC4 (4 watts) and I like it a lot.

I had never heard of the Skreddy but I just checked it out on the you tube. Seem's like a decent pedal.

My wife bought me a Metal Pedals Raw Hide overdrive this past fall at the Philly guitar show and you can definitely get some righteous ZZ Top inspired sounds out of it. I love it and it's one of the coolest dirt pedals that I own.

I checked out some YouTube videos and the Goran sounds really cool, but how the heck do you find out what it costs? Can't find it in Google shopping, there's no price on the Goran web site and the "Order" link on their site just gives a sort of "Contact Us" form.

This is the closest I have come -- Goodsell OD II into a Bassman-style head. Listen to the third track (Just Got Paid lick).
