Yes, I have; it's always started up again by the Epi guys. The Gibson guys are content in the knowledge that their guitars are FAR superior to Epiphones, therefore they feel no need for 'bashing' of them.

Only when the 'Epi guys' start it! Find me one thread started by a 'Gibson guy' bashing Epiphones, and I will send you a USA five dollar bill.

Well, this is an Epiphone forum. That would be in poor taste, and probably breach the forum rules, and I don't see why one couldn't begrudge an Epiphone guy his delusions in an Epiphone forum, anyway. There's at least some dick waving going on on both sides, even though the Gibson guys are usually right. Heck, they probably enjoy these types of claims.

Or they can be like me who HAS OWNED BOTH, and still feel Gibsons are a rip, and EPIS are better guitars. There you go. :thumb:

Here's the OP, so some guys who have 'piled on' in the last few pages can see what all the hubbub is about. It's an obviously fake, staged, advertising photo of Billy pretending to 'play' an Epiphone. There's no crowd, no Frank, no Dusty, and no hot-rod exhaust pipe mic stands.

Perhaps, but he has in fact, been seen AND photographed on stage playing a Tokai.

    I don't know, it's possible. It's from a Marshall ad.
    But yeah, what Dennis said.
