TRC, nibless, rosewood fretboard makes me go :hmm:

Aren't these supposed to have ebony boards? Loads of red flags for me.

It's a Standard, JM. Those have rosewood boards.
The guitar looks fine to me.

Nevermind...after looking at the auction and actually reading this time...:slap:

It fits the bill of a Norlin Standard that's been refinished and obviously refretted. Cool looking guitar, but expensive.

Ignore my last post. I was assuming the claim was that it's a ZW Custom shop model, which the seller does not state.

    Yeah...I caught that.

    Reading tends to help. :slap:

Make the guy an offer and see if he takes it. Pretty cool looking though.

3500 seems steep.I thought the zakk models were customs not standards. Also the custom shop models have the zakk silhoette on the back of the headstock

It's not a Zakk, the guy had it painted like Zakk's red bulleye, so basically your paying for a standard with custom paint. I love his red bullseye, but if I'm paying 3500..I'm getting the custom shop!

thats what im getting at. Your paying for the custom paint so 3500 is a little on the steep side. Out of interest how much is the gibson custom shop bullseye?

haha who would buy that? It looks like a piece of ****
the face that they are "crystal" only indicates molecular structure - i doubt the actual value of that guitar is over $2k

The Gibson or the Epiphone? The Gibson alone costs $3000. Adding those crystals and the work, it should be worth more than 2k.
That doesn't change the fact that it's ugly as sin, though. What a waste of a nice guitar.

    OK, you got me.
Yeah, maybe it is worth more than $2k. I guess I misjudged the price because I was reeling from the crassness of the thing.
I hate how he has included a smug picture (of himself?) and some sweet cars in the item photos.

Instead of all these other weird looking 'signature' guitars they make for him, I'd actually like to get the mylar mirror bullsye
