It's brand new. My father and I are building it together.
He's been into construction his whole life + you save a
lot of money if you can build it yourself.

Yeah I'm sticking with the clearcoat. I'm going for
something like this picture. Imagine it with double white
    pickups and no pickguard:

Looks like it's just been customized a bit. You can tell the tail piece is newer than the other hardware. Maybe the switches are coil or phase taps. Don't know about the head stock inlay though.

Can you even get a maple fret board Custom anymore? I'm planning on getting a custom when I graduate next year, and I'd like to get one with a maple fret board.

Ha ha I get ya, Yeah I would love a custom with a maple board but I don't know if I will be able to find one like that next year. If I can't find one with it I'll get a "cream" custom. I'll also "shave" the neck but I don't think I could ever strip the entire body though . Good Luck with you're refinish, the natural look should look great!

I want one too, but I'm way low on cash.
That's why I'm refinishing my Zakk sig.

Yeah and honestly looking at the build type that would be hard to find anyway. You have a multi-piece maple neck as apposed to mahogany. They only use that type of neck on re issues and the Zakk models I believe. I wonder if you're top has any flame to it?

Bojan: That looks great. I thought you were gonna keep the stock EMGs in it. Or are you just switching the covers? Still, it really looks good. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

I'm taking out the EMGs and getting me some double whites.
I'm still torn between WB Pickups and Bareknuckle.

Seems like it's coming along great, both the house and the guitar! I understood right from the very beginning when I saw the house that you were building it yourselves, as most houses in Scandinavia are likely to be built using wood, but you guys from down in Central-Europe tend to use concrete instead, as I've understood it. My girlfriend is Slovene, her parents are both Serbian and moved to Slovenia when they were in their 20s. They go visit their relatives in Sremska Mitrovica a couple of times each year, I believe. This is all very off-topic, but she's also learning Swedish since that's the closest you'll come to Norwegian of what's available at her university.

I also know another guy named Bojan, he's a great guy too.:laugh2:

I'm posting a lot of gibberish today, haha.

Small world. I was born in Sremska Mitrovica, but lived in a town about
    40km from there.

I just remembered my gf has some relatives living in Malmö as well, so definitely a small world indeed. :)
