This thread had me thinking, the 7th grade a guy named Rick from California turned me on to:
    John Lennon/George Harrison/Sgt. Peppers
that led to Eric Clapton/ Disraeli Gears
that led to Hendrix/Are You Experienced
from there it was record collections numbering in the hundreds rebuilt many times over.
    perennial:
    Paul Kosoff (free boxset)
    Joe Pass (Virtuoso)
    Stevie Ray Vaughn (Texas Flood)
Duane Allman (Live at the Filmore)
    current:
    Lenny Breau ..collecting
    Eric Gales ..collecting
Michael Mann/Hollywood Fats rip<He's my plus 1..anything I can get my hands on

and any of the other artist listed in this thread that I haven't heard yet!

I honestly have such a hard time listing just ten - but here goes:

    Clapton
    Warren Haynes
    Freddie King
    Wes Montgomery
    David Gilmour
    Duane Allman
    Charlie Christian
    BB King
    Jimi Hendrix
    George Harrison

I could also make a strong argument for any of these guys:

    Trey Anastasio
    Derek Trucks
    Robert Johnson
    Jimmy Page
    Dickey Betts
    Pete Townshend

Yeah - it is way too hard to only list ten -
