    Already have it.
With ot without the Floyd. It's mostly about the woods used and the HSH setup.

Got a Lite Ash Strat on it's way to being HSH, too.

Yeah its my no1 guitar. Sounds awesome as well. These bareknuckle pickups really deliver.

    These 4:

Pawn Shop '72 (finally, remembered it!)

    SRV Strat

    Road Worn Strat '60s

And this (dunno what it's called, something like a Strat in Sonic Blue and a tortoise shell pickguard)

    Easy question.

First would be my 1988 62 Reissue Strat. Absolutely perfect for a strat.

Second is a new 64 reissue Tele in LPB. I've played a few and once I sell off some odds and ends will be buying my own.

between these two, don't really need any other Fender. They are nice to have though :thumb:

An "old school" Keef Tele - before he changed the bridge out to a modern 6 saddle and changed the bridge pup.

    Essentially, this:

The "Exile" guitar. That, plus a Tweed Champ and you have the original "Tumblin' Dice" tone.

Three brass saddles is the only way to fly on a Tele for me. Also a neck humbucker. That into a Fender amp and a good set of distortion pedals and I'm off to the races.

Early 50's telecaster running though a tweed deluxe.
    That would do nicely.

I already own my ideal fender, it's a MIJ 1990 Hot Rod Reissue Strat, the neck is Ibanez wizard thin and it has a floyd so it never goes out of tune, the only thing I'd change about it is the color, I kinda wish it was blue.

I love this one--while I'd love to have a Strat there's something I just love about playing my Mustang.

I am thinking of pairing an Eric Johnson body, with a 70s Big Headstock all maple neck. I like big deep tummy cuts. And LOVE those maple big headstock necks.

It is not Fender, it is Fenderesque. Hefner '50s carve one piece swamp ash hardtail body, Custom shop '54 pups, custom wiring, vintage tuners and a birdseye neck. Built by me.

Once it gets back from the shop with a new nut and fret dressing, and I can drop in a new set of pickups, my Duo Sonic is my ideal fender.

Ideal? Alder Strat, Candy Apple Red, rosewood, 7.25", vintage frets, headstock TR access, fully shielded, on/off/phase mini toggles X3, concentric T/V pots X3, chrome p/up covers & knobs, b/w/b 'guard, '59-sounding p/ups.
Or a Tele - basically '59-'66, but headstock TR; natural highly-figured ash, rosewood, 1-ply black 'guard.

Four way mod on just about any Tele and I'm good to go.

Out of every fender it would be SRV sig. Played one, loved it, never bought it.

Out of all the ones I have played, and a close second to the SRV, these
