Of all the celeb own/owned authentic ‘bursts (Mars, Green, Richards, Henley, Keifer, Clapton, ex-Leese, Stanley, Page etc.) which is your fave?

Think I'd go with Tom Keifer’s

That is such a tough call.

In the looks department...Pearly is hard to beat.

Tonally...I am currently obsessed with Gary Moore's Stripe.

Not a famous one per say, but 9 1942 is my personal favorite

Pearly. Both based on how insane it sounds to me every time I hear it on records and the fact that the good Reverend has programmed his entire rig on its tone frequency profile because he hasn't run across another guitar that sounds the same (even though he's probably played hundreds of guitars over his life time).

I cannot decide which one I like the most.

Pearly for sure for what it is and how she looks, love ZZ Top anyways

The Bloomfield for it's history and for the look as well

Howard Leese's Burst is one of my favorites also, like him, his playing, the songs and the look of the guitar.

The Greeny for sure, look, sound and the players that owned it

Looks wise, I love Billy Squire's 59 for a clean one and I really like Eric's for the mojo....I like worn looking guitars. Kevin's also looks killer. But for a favorite, I would have to play it. Right now, my favorite is a beat up looking burst conversion. Lol.

I didn't know Billy Squire had one. I'll have to check that out.

Jimmi, your conversion may possibly be the nicest conversion I have seen. that deep color along the bottom end there really intrigues me

Not celebrity owned, at least at present, (although I am a legend in my own mind! :laugh2: )- Probably the bird-in-the-hand syndrome too, but my '58 is a hell of a player(!)

Thank you...I love this guitar...it has a few issues but a great player with an original top....equal to all but 2 bursts I have played ( one of those was the first one I ever touched and was very young...might not be as great if I did it again today) I think the dark area is partially due to shadowing from the chair arm. Here is a better picture:

I have another one that I think will be as good or very close when done. Also has an original top. Just had everything gone through and it is now ready to go....just trying to decide if I am taking off the Les Paul autograph now that I figured out how to do it:
