Regardless if it looks like the original,..the top on that CC28 is pretty damn cool ....
Original Shanks on top and my CC7 Shanks #143 on the bottom. Incredible instrument.
my CC #8
Simply WOW! ..that is a awesome "Beast"...
Here is my cc36 next to the Goldfinger. What a treat! Awesome guitars! Besides the looks, the neck profile and weight are almost identical at .860 @ 1st fret and just under 8 lbs.
One thing I've noticed is Gibson seems have taken the arm wear thing a little too far on some of these
This is not a CC, just a regular R8, but the reason I bought it is because of its close resemblance to “Nicky”.
Both guitars have a very similar diagonal figuring above the pickups, although the angle is flip-flopped between the two.
+1. I found a older pic of my Skinnerburst, I do not have many of it, and edited my post to it over the dealer pic I first posted.
It's more accurate to what the guitar actually looks like compared to the super dark, super old, dealer pic I posted at first.
I've always liked the Beast. If you ever want to sell, at a reasonable price, PM me!
Do any of our guys still hanging onto CC 1
The Greg Martin 'Hank' run had some really wayyy off ones...a few I saw had full flame across the top.
I've yet to find a better cc
Well, I still have this, but it's not a CC!
What's your address Frank?
No I mean street address lol cause I'm gonna take that!
Frank is Kirk or Kirk is Frank?
I'd seriously pay just to strum an open G chord on that one.....
I have this one...
