That's cool thanks Matty, nice setup. Yeah from what I have seen/heard so far the AF sounds infreakin'credible.

It does indeed, but it's not a plug in and rock deal. There's a bit of tweaking involved to get the best out of it. It can sound absolutely horrendous with the wrong settings, but once you know what you're doing it takes 5 minutes to dial in a great tone.

The other option is to buy MBritts presets and plug in and rock. :dude:

Pretty much the problem with most out of the box factory presets. I know this is the main reason many dis the Line 6 HD300 and 500.

Thanks Frank, that's a 1981 Tokai LS80, not too far removed from the one you once had. It's got a big '58 style neck profile and very worn nitro finish that has worn through on my favorite neck positions. :thumb:

Matty: You and I agree on Tokai. I'm a big fan.

Yeah, funny you mention that one. I recently got an PM from the guy here that purchased it from me.. He is about to refinish it and had some questions about the refinish I did to it. Too bad too because I kinda like that Seafoam green with vintage clear coat burst I had on it.. :thumb:

Thank you Matty. I appreciate that.. and Yes that is the one. It was a 1980 LS120. It was beat up pretty badly when I got it. No one wanted it on ebay for a long long time... I threw a low bid on it and the seller accepted.

When I got the guitar it was worse then I thought. The guitar had a cheap ass refinish on it and needed some major setup work.

The THR 10 is $199 now at Sam ash. I bought mine a year ago and play it every single day. It also takes pedals very well. If mine broke, I would buy another one to replace it. Fantastic practice amp!

Oh I don't know about that Willy. If he were you would see a wireless setup so there wasn't any bunched up guitar cables on the floor.. :thumb:

Once in a while they do get marked down. A month or so ago, Yamaha had a 50$ promo, and GCs 15% and 20% coupon deals are often valid for Yamaha gear. When they are on sale the THR10s are an even better deal!
