I am new to this forum and appreciate help to clear my doubt. Just bought a yamaha SL600S from auction but after unpacking, found there is no push/pull tone pot that usually comes with this model. The wiring inside seemed original to me. I thought the letter 's' of the model means "split-able" if i remember well? or does it mean "standard"

    Thanks

Please post this on another section, this part is dedicated to instruments that cost about 300 times more and are made by Gibson, not yamaha.

    Thank you.

Hey perkin's, you might get the answer in the "Other Les Pauls" section.

Oh, and welcome to MLPF buddy!

. . . not sure why someone said "thank you." Hopefully they weren't attempting to treat you like dirt for making a simple mistake, especially when they knew the correct section for your question and coulda been helpful and guided you there.

Not at all, thats your twisted perception.

And wats your point in resurecting this thread? The guy was told what to do and he didn't even cared to do so?

It's hard to understand in a section says vintage les pauls someone will post a yamaha guitar question, unless he believes Yamaha is owned by GibCorp.
