Hopefully the mad rush from the group buy is over and done with where it will make it in 4-5 weeks.
Well I hope so my friend. But I do recall Mick telling me that he had 20 orders in the system "before" we started the group buy. So it seems he has quite a bit of business coming in these days. Especially for a one man band.
Right, I wouldn't doubt it if that number stayed pretty constant, and even grew gradually as more find out about this cool new way to hear guitar.
I ordered 2 1x12 Passives (no customization) 4 weeks and 2 days ago, not that I'm counting When Mic emailed me he said 'around' 4 to 5 weeks so hopefully soon. But even it takes longer I'm still glad I went this route.
There is nothing like hearing a pair of XiTones in stereo. The imaging will amazing you.
Today is 4 weeks and a day for me. Just glad I have a backup speaker option to play through. After all, I am AmpedUp!
I pretty much have it narrowed down to the Yamaha DXR10 and the Michael Britt XiTone. The only thing really stopping me (other than it being twice the price), is that I haven't seen many reviews on them. I mostly use Michael's profiles for anything other than metal, though, so if it sounds good enough for him to use his profiles through, that is probably the best review there could be.
The MBritt Xitone and the Mission Io are the two that interest me, right now. I have a DXR12, that I'm happy with. I'm just looking over the fence to see if there's any greener grass to try. I have a new guitar project going and will wait to get that finished before getting another cabinet. If you do get the MBritt, please post how you like it. I'm a bit surprised that there's next to no feedback on them so far.
Those are the two I'm interested in as well. I'm looking for a passive cab so I'm leaning towards the Mission, I like the looks of their passive cabs better.
When is was looking into Axe FX that's who I thought about buying from. I like the look of traditional cabs and they also sell matching heads you can put your rack mounted gear in.
The Mission Io is active. It just came out a few months ago. As far as looks go, it's a pretty nice looking cab. I think I posted this link before but here it is again.
I was going to ask you the same thing =) Haha.
Raw suspense is sure building up. 6 week point today. Hopefully soon.
I'm in week 7. Getting harder to ignore the process
Where's that impatient emoji?
I got my XiTone ordered, but it will probably be late October or early November before I get it. Mick was awesome to deal with -- very honest and thorough.
Now, I just need to find something to hold me over until the XiTone gets here, but that's another subject for another thread.
Just pick up a cheap set of studio monitors. I use MAudio BX 5 series. When you get your XiTone you can move the monitors to your computer.
Week 7 here now.
congratz! welcome to the waiting game
