Looks good but didn't wow me. As for value, find a non-authorized Gibson dealer and use their prices as the absolute maximum you should pay on a new guitar.

While I do agree with this, some people only want unmodified Gibsons.

I get that Tim. That’s why the used market is such a better idea. Makeover not necessary and then it’s way cheaper.

Just cause you're asking implies you can afford to pay that price, so I say go for it.
Negotiate a better deal, get a great guitar, & be happy.

Way over priced , imo . It says Aged (I took a very quick look and don't see much aging), and It appears to be a 2015 (from the serial #) which means it should be a TM aged guitar , which I see nothing about .... Was it sent back to Gibson to be Aged , in house ???
it's an OK guitar , in my eye . The fret Board is not as good as a TH should have(at that price) and takes away from it's value , big time ,imo . I'd look at anything USED for a TH or other Dealers who Will do much better on the price . The 2017's should be a consideration too . Save a truck load of cash for 1 while you get 90% of what TH 's are ....
Owning a TH and a 2014 . I wouldn't pay that price for a TH and didn't for mine . My TH is top notch . Less the FRETS which should be a consideration . As you might find you don't like them.
Gibson's MAP is crazy . But , if you just have to have that guitar , because of it's top ... buy now and cry as you pay .....

OK , took a better look and see some aging , but , I'd not pay that price for a 2015 . IIRC a TM Aged TH listed for ,like $11K+ ... Deep discount ???
Looked for the Trade mark TM inscription and it difficult to make out , so maybe there , But , I don't like nothing was advertised about it and since Gibson is selling a New version of the TM painted and Aged R9's , I wonder why That was left out....Since it's a big selling point ,imo ...

You can grab a killer R8 and send it to historic makeovers for that price and would be an even truer historic.

    $4-$4100 in 2014 was a common price.

Indeed, maybe even a Bartlett Retrospec.

That’s one of the things I love about my R9, the best viewing angle is exactly where the audiences line of sight would be on a proper stage.

For that TH = H. E. double hockey sticks no.

Orange and a the board is way to light.

You could get a nice LP Custom or Reissue + a great amp & cab and still have change left.

Don't drink that TH Kool-Aid my friend. I've played several THs and they do NOT sound any better than other reissues from 2013 to present. Just as good, yes; better, no. For 8k you could get the prettiest R9 out there. If it were me, I'd buy two normal reissues and be twice as happy. I still need a '57 and a '59 myself so I'd go that route.
