Wiring tone pot as bass cut?

    how can this be done? i'd rather cut bass on my neck pup, rather than treble. i never have the need to cut treble. the bass is excessive at times. i have an epi LP custom. the wiring now has both independent vol and tone, but when you turn either vol down all the way, both are affected (so you know my layout).

    Research the Fender TBX circuit;go from there.

    well i don't want to use a dual pot like the TBX. but from what i can see, if i ran a resistor in series with the tone cap going to ground, then would this make the tone pot cut the bass?
