    hi all

i am changing the pups on my 57 RI goldtop
and was interested in the options I have

i am getting a couple of GFS's to try them out
i was going to get a p90 style neck and a fairly high gain bridge

I am ordering pups so I was going to maybe get some push pull pots
    and do some funky wiring

i dont want to take on anything too messy, Im no expert

any good ideas or links etc

    Rgds

Seymour Duncan has really easy to read wiring diagrams at their site. I use the JB and 59 in my Les Paul, and I have coil split push/pull pots where the tone controls are. You can get a really nice clean tone with the pickups on single coil. I don't use them very often, but the option is there.

Yea what Wilde says, Seymour Duncan has some great
    diagrams for it.

pushpull is great idea, much better than a mini switch
(wish i would have thought of that on my warmoth strat.)
