"Why do you have so many guitars? You can't play them all at once"

Too which I replied: "Does an artist use all their brushes or paints at once?"

I reply with "That's why I play each 1 at different times." That "saying" makes 0 sense, literally.

Now, back to looking at guitars. :p

I get a kick out of the people that say stuff like that and then you look around their house and they have 2 cars, a truck, 2 or 3 TVs, a smart phone, a tablet, a laptop, a PC, and 2 or 3 video game consoles.
Right, because you can use all that stuff at the same time but I shouldn’t be allowed to own more than one guitar?

"Why do you have so many shoes?"

Look into a tool chest...and ask "why so many wrenches?"

I just strap on 6 or 7 at once and stare at them. It's not ALL my guitars, but it just shuts them right up.

    It's a Partscaster I assembled.

Body is from MJT from ebay.
I went through several necks before I found one that worked.

Pickups are from an American Standard.

While in process of assembly, my friend was goofing off and started swinging the guitar body around. I had the good sense to step to the side, right after that he lost it and it went flying towards the spot I left.

More than I need, but not as many as I want. What's hard to understand about that?

at any one time, I usually have 5 or 6.
I tend to find a guitars I like and stick with them for a long time, GAS free kinda guy.

theres nothing wrong about collecting many guitars. a lot of folks enjoy the thrill of the chase acquiring these instruments. it just has never interested me

For me the answer is clear: I love them, cherish them and

...wait. What was the question again?
Anyway, I have four Les Pauls.

Me! and a ukelele as well. And as for my guitars, well, they're all different. Semi hollow, hollow, solid, P90's, Humbuckers, single coil, Bigsby, no Bigsby...well, you get the idea, they're all different.
