Totally forgot, I own a Marshall MS-4 as well.
I even modified the headphone out to an ext. speaker out, that little bugger gets loud through a 2x12 !

I don't know if the Blues Cube Artist qualifies. No tubes, no effects, one amp voicing, but I sure do like that amp.

I'm not sure whether this would fit in the Solid State section. Your discretion, C_B.

I'm REALLY enjoying BOTH of our threads :h5:

I just picked up a BOSS Katana 100 head, running through my Mesa 212 vertical slant with V30s.
    Incredibly impressed. Almost alarmingly so.

I also have a Fender Cyber Twin SE with foot controller that hasn't gotten much use in a couple years.
It's actually a pretty fantastic amp too, but I sort of abandoned it while going through a slew of tube amps, both low and high wattage, over the last few years.

I feel like I'm coming full circle though now and heading back in the direction that I started from.
I have 7 amps downstairs (and probably at least another 7 in storage, just little SS combos and modellers that were throw ins on used guitar purchases) and 5 of them are all analog tube based amps. I'm not willing to give the tubes up all together just yet, but I do actually foresee a time that I won't feel a need to hold onto them anymore.
The digital/modelling/profiling world is really producing some authentic tones and feels these days. I can only imagine that it's going to get better, and definitely a whole lot more affordable than owning a stable of heavy and bulky tube amps.

For solid state amps I have an Ampeg BA110 and an ART Power Plant preamp. Also as suggested I have an ADA MP1 which has a solid state preamp as well as a tube preamp.

BTW the secret to getting the MP1 to sound good direct is to put a good speaker emulator between it and your effects (or direct to a console). For live it begs for a good tube power amp and 1 or 2 Celestions (my preference being G12 T75s).

Both threads are coming along nicely :thumb:
Hm, I'd say its more tube than SS, so I guess your thread would fit better.
I'll update the OP tomorrow, busy drinking Pepsi & Captain at the moment and enjoying the nice weather. Cheers :D

OK, I'll put it in the tube section then. Enjoy the weather. Today is our first day "only" in the '90s. It's been in excess of 100 every day this last week.
