2B5549DB-C6B3-4C61-B740-2EC37ABEA05C.jpeg Bought a 2007 lp standard 3 years ago online. Cool gingerburst that I love the sound of and thought was special. When I first got it I pulled the pups and thought “who made these pickups and didn’t stamp them?” Through my time here on MLP and reading the knowledge posted here I found out today why this guitar is the best sounding one I have. Crossroads neck and Goodwood bridge. I can’t believe it.

I think they are great. To me the American Steel set sound good at all selector positions and versatile with the pots set any place but zero.

The American Steele are the best WCRs I've played. I enjoy the Darkburst in the bridge too, but the GW in the bridge is incredible.

I have a set in my black '58

Thank you Moreles. I have learned a lot here. I didn’t know what I had but just knew this LP had something my others didn’t.
