I'd like to take my R7 down to match my R9 and have it finished and the serial # replaced.

Who does this besides RS Guitarworks?

HM, I know, but it costs 2k. Silly.

    Star Guitars did Jamman's ES335.

From memory he was pretty happy with the result.

    Good luck.

I have a melody maker Starr Guitars did. I'm very happy with their work. No idea the price though, I bought mine used for cheap. No idea what it cost whoever got the work done on it. They're pretty active on FB, you could probably get a conversation started pretty quickly if you reach out to them. They seem like good guys.

Yup my 345 .... Had a huge , I mean Huge neck ..Shaved down to .870 @ the 1st Fret (from .920) . Made the guitar a keeper (for me anyway) .
anyway it was a few years ago that I had the work done . 2K is CRAZY $$$$ imo . I paid $600.00 . BUT I delivered it and picked it up , so no shipping charges were involved .

Call and talk about what you want done . I just went over and looked at this . Seems Kip is only doing Refin work now . Call and see what he could do for you . Great guy, nice shop and beautiful work @ very good prices IMO.

I have a wraptail that the woods used came from Starr Guitar. Incredible looking mahogany and maple and a huge neck! .955 @ the 1st fret. I love it! I would definitely check into them.... good luck!

I spoke to Kip from Starr guitars today. Seems like a straight shooter. Took his time to chat with me about my guitar and had some suggestions and thoughts. Told me about his past work. Seems like it might be a good fit. Thanks fellas.
