I just learned of this Diary of a Madman Legacy Edition which contains a live recording of Ozzy and Randy during the Blizzard of Ozz tour. Where did this come from? Ozzy said long time ago that there wasn't anything left to be released on Randy.

And now all these decades later this jewel of a recording surfaces? It is out of this world!

Didn't any of the people concerned know of its existence?

I have no idea but Ozzy is not the most trusted source of information on the past, let's face it.

theres probably miles of tape somewhere,
it was not unusual for bands looking to compile a live album to let the tape roll then pick the best. The tapes get misplaced, some get wiped and recorded over ( studio quality tapes were expensive back in the day) then some survive to be rediscovered. Kind of nice they turn up time to time. Ozzy always makes me smile
