This one is pretty rare, but there are at least 99-100 more very similar. Lots of hungry times and long walks - haven't regretted it yet.:dude: Eventually I plan to add a 4th knob, and then it'll be one of a kind:dude:

The rarest guitar in my current collection? I think these are rare, not common, but not unfamiliar.

The rarest would have to be this'n - 1974 Gibson EDS-1275: All original (speed knobs are now removed, original witch hats back on):

Followed by this'n - 1964 Gibson ES-335: All original except stopbar (original was misplaced by first owner when he installed an aftermarket tremolo).

Followed by this'n - 1959 Gibson ES-175: Only things not original are the tuners and PAFs. I have the original rosewood bridge, that's a Johnny Smith and a Callaham onboard. Oh, those ARE PAFs, but from a 1962 LP/SG.

Followed by this'n - 1982 Gibson 30th Annie, which I recently re-purchased after 18 months in someone else's stable... I couldn't be happier!!! Nothing is original except the wood. I resurected this one from the death bed. New aged goldtop by RS Guitarworks 8 years ago; Tom Holmes USA pickups; RS control kit; 1953 LP speed knobs; era correct (for the 30th) aged-by-me TonePros tuners; Callaham ABR-1; Gibson Historic aluminum stopbar; bone nut.

And I would gladly sell a combination of the above (except the ES-335) to get a even more rare guitar: My birth year Gretsch White Falcon... THE Holy Grail in my estimation.

One of my rarest is a 2007 Gibson Melody Maker with 2 pickups. Made for less than a year...

I don't know how rare this one is but I've never seen another and I had a hard time researching it. It is a 1987 one humbucker, one volume, no tone Squier Stratocaster with a 24.75" scale. It is an awesome guitar to play. The sound is more like a Les Paul Junior with a humbucker than a Fender.

My other semi-rare one is a 1967 Harmony.

Mine rarest guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Jr. Pro in nuclear yellow. Not worth anything, and mine is worth less than average because it has been modified. They only made them for a year, in two colors and I have never seen another one in person. I have seen a few posted around here.

Robin doubleneck 6 octave/6. Have heard there were less than 50 made, but don't know. I've only seen two others and they were sunburst.

Baritone Strat made for Pete Anderson. Custom "D" tele neck by Steve Ripley, custom Seymour Duncan pickups, silver sparkle finish.

Then there is my Buck Owens. No idea how many made. Have heard silly low numbers.

I've got a Bluesman Vintage Nomad. Les Paul JR style guitar. They've made maybe half a dozen of them, and mine is the only single cut.

My Tokai goldtop isn't rare, but you don't see them everyday (go look at my NGD thread in the Other Les Pauls section for pics).

    Years ago, I had a Heartfield RR59...

Not my pic, but this guitar was sold to me...I eventually sold it back to the guy since I hated his oversized aftermarket pickguard and the thin neck and got an RR58...

Again, not my pic. I think I found pics of my old guitar on a Dutch guitar forum (the description certainly matches) but they're saved on their Photobucket...

Thanks - I think it's cool too... I prefer white over the other colors.

Mine weighs in at 11 lbs 6 oz. Not too bad considering what you got strapped over your shoulder.

2000 Gretsch G3156 Streamliner. Not uber-rare, but not all that common, either.
