What's the difference between Squier Bullet and Squier Affinity strats?

I've seen these budget guitars around, but I've never had a chance to compare them up close. Is it just the wood? Or the pickups? These are like the cheapest of cheap guitars, so I doubt the components are really too different..

    Thanks in advance.

aw, shucks! i wasn't serious about the medal... :laugh2:

also as far as i can work out the bullet has a thinner body. 4.2 versus the normal 4.5 cm.

i very nearly got a bullet last week as i was in a strat mood and love daphne blue. ended up getting a great deal on a classic vibe '50s though

GF has an affinity and it too is a slightly smaller body. The neck on her affinity is tiny> thin and a 1 5/8" nut width. I can't play it its so damn small. Given some upgrades it sounds good and stays in tune

here's my overly excited new guitar day thread

    http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/fender/75937-new-gutiar-day-squier-cv-50s.html

will do some more when i remember and it's nice outside.

i dialled in some surf sounds using my digitech reverb yesterday, and this guitar paid for itself in about thrity seconds. apparently the pickups are tonerider surfaris, and they were PERFECT
