Got two quirky and fun guitars coming soon....

1st is a Jay Turser Tele Thinline:

But it has SD Humbucker in the Bridge:

But not checked which one? so will update when it has been checked, it also had a Fender Tele neck on it (Which needed 'adapting' to fit and is now non standard) but it's been put back to factory today with the original Neck....Oh and it has Amber Knobs on it....(Don't ask!...it's a long story) :)

    And a AXL Badwater Eldorado

[Alder Body / Maple Neck / Rosewood Fretboard / 'C'-profile neck / Medium Frets]

Not in this condition though, no pick ups, pick guard off, needs rewire, it is described as 'distressed' but not relic'd, more left in a shed/garage for 10 yrs, even has woodworm holes in it....and the logo burnt into the Headstock....:) Got the original PU's for it but also access to some Fender/Squier SC PU's so.....mmm! we'll see what happens.

Both cheap and cheerful and different to everything else in the house, hopefully will remember to update when home and finished.

Not these Brian, unfortunately, they'll go to daughters gathering....:) the AXL could be done easily(ish) I think and thought about it as I would only use 1 Vol knob and a 3 way switch BUT I would want a blank Scratch Plate but that might not be worth the expense/effort, as the 'ageing' is really well done so wanted to keep all original looks if possible....so maybe next time....:)

Putting a Firebird HS (Neck) on the Thinline crossed my mind....:) but keeping it RH, and not the easiest thing to find, a nice (To me) bolt on FB Neck.

    :)

I'm thinking of getting a Fender MiM Telecaster in Lake Placid Blue

My next Les Paul will probably be a Epiphone 1956 goldtop, or a bigsby epiphone les paul if I can find one somewhere.

Been thinking of trying the Squire Classic Vibe 50's Tele. If it plays anything like my Classic Vibe Strat, I'll love it:)

I change my mind everytime I go on guitarcenter.com or sweetwater or any similar sites. At the moment, I'm wanting a floating tremolo equipped guitar. For that, I'm looking at Ibanez and Schecter. I would really love a red, 24 fret, passive pu, Ibanez w/ the floating trem for 800$ or less. But I'm also really loving the Epiphone Casinos and Reviera p90 3 in black or red. They look so classy. Those are my realistic, attainable dream guitars. I am also looking at acoustics. I'm not the kind of guy that collects guitars, I would just love to have one of every type of guitar for all the genres I play:) .
