That is a 76 number, but being that its not a 61 SG LP it doesn't belong in this thread.

Hey Ken! Never thought I'd see another Frightstuffer on this site, especially not the owner, haha. This is "themyers1978" from the board :)

Can't say that I do. I'm just a young guy who enjoys playing the guitar and doesn't have a lot of money. I just have a few cheap Telecaster, Les Paul, and Strat knock offs which I have souped up to play well to my needs. I always enjoy seeing others' vintage goodies though!

Am wondering if Gibson also provides information as to where the guitars were shipped, along with the date of shipment? Am original owner of Les Paul Custom SG S/N 10884. Pot code on all pots is 1346034. Store is still in business after all of these years, but at different location. Original owner, who actually sold me guitar, just passed away last month. Although I ran across the receipt a number of years ago, I cannot find it now.

I have a 1961 Les Paul that was ordered in 1960 by my uncle.

It has the inked on serial number and only has 4 numbers.

It was sent to music store in February 1961.

Since we're already necrobumped, I'll add in that mine is 2104 (stamped).

    Welcome to the forum, kbakken!
