What is your favorite brand and gauge of strings?

    I've used everything from 12s to 8s.

I used to run DR drop tuning strings on my strat, but today I use GHS boomers (10s) on most of my guitars.

On my Telecaster I use Earnie Ball Extra Slinkys (8s).

What do you use on your guitars?

Tried a few different ones but now I'm set on Ernie Ball 10s. Down to my last 20 or so packs, probably time to order a new batch!

If I had a tele it would be EB 9s. But currently tele-less.

Ernie Ball 10s is like the white bread gold standard...I use them but I'm not really picky about strings. The acid content in my sweat makes their lives very short.

10-46 regular D’Addario’s, usually in the bulk pack and when they are on sale. I used to use Slynkys, but had problems with string breakage during stretching. I heard others make the same complaint. JustStrings bulk packs are great as well, especially for the player who constantly restrings. The problem with theirs is they come by the dozen, by string gauge. I found that by the end of a dozen, they just didn’t feel ‘new’, maybe because the pack was open for too long?

Rotosound 9s, 10s or 11s. Though I just bought some Ernie Ball 8s to try on my Jazzmaster

Usually GHS Boomers 9-46 or DR. I did get some EB Slinky 10-46 to do my own experiment. Always trying other brands too.

Guitars: Gibson Brite Wires on all. Best string (IMO of course) I've used. Used D'Ads for decades before.
Gibson scale - Gibson Brite Wires .10
Fender scale- Gibson Brite Wires .09

    Basses:
NYXL on all of em, both IV & V strings.
Steinberger V stick bass has a string adapter so I can run normal NYXLs on it too.

Elixir all the way, because every other string rusts to hell in no time.
10-52 on the 24.75" scale guitars
    11-49 on the Tele
11-52 on the Acoustics (custom light)
12-68 on the Baritone (27" tuned to BEADF#B)
    10-46 + a single .068 on the 7-string (26.5" scale)
45-130 on the Basses (with a tapered B)

Only exception is the Epiphone Viola Bass, which carries Höfner Flatwounds

Most of My Les pauls and Teles get 10's , Strats tend to be good with 9's. For me anyways.

more or less stick with the same strings all the time,
EB 10's on electrics. Acoustics get either Elixir 13's , D' Add. EJ16, or M150's on the guitars that sound better with brass.
Elixir's are probably my favorite, they don't have that over bright new string sound and middle life is ages, well worth the extra cost
