You’re a Jack White fan, no? Ever checked out Under Great White Northern Lights? It’s a photo journal, rather than sketchbook or concept art, but it truly is fantastic. Photos by Autumn De Wilde, and it captures their tour of every province and territory in Canada, for support of Icky Thump. If you like that sort of thing, and I think you do, it’s a definite must.
I follow him on FB. He seems much more interested in startups for card games and go fund me types of things than what he is in finishing what could easily be one of the top ten fantasy series of all time. Fucker.
I'm reading about British Rails APT-E (Advanced Passenger Train-Experimental) pioneering tilting train from the 1970s.
I'm not convinced he's messed up, but I do find some of the chapters to be repetitive and circuitous. It's not supposed to be an easy self-help read, but I find myself having to read entire paragraphs over, sometimes more than once. I will soldier on though, there is some useful stuff in there about his experience in clinical practice. Some really good stuff about the nature of personal responsibility that would apply to some of the threads recently posted here.
had a neighbor that flew mustangs in WW2.a really nice guy with a great sense of humor.rarely would he talk about the war.he did give me a poster sized pic called bluenoser bounce that was signed by several of his squadron mates.he passed away several years ago.
Currently on book 10 of 14 in the Wheel of Time series. I think I'll take a break after this one and read Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules For Life. I also got the new George Martin book Fire and Blood
Currently, Company Commander by Charles B. MacDonald, who led an infantry company into Germany during the last year of the war, at the age of 22. Have also started 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and am about to start Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman, by Richard P. Feynman. I have 34 unread books in my library waiting on me right now. I waste waaay too much time HERE
Been on a werewolf kick lately. Presently reading book three of the "High Moor" series by Graeme Reynolds. Great books if you're into werewolves.
I missed one, so it's at least 35. That better? Your problem is..... you don't read fast enough.....or you buy too many books (nah, that ain't it).....or,....too much time HERE. I've cut down on my book buying this past year, but it'll pick up again
a few on the go... - The Cut Golf & Leisure Summer 2019 - The Predatory Female by Rev Lawrence Shannon - The Complete History Of Rickenbacker Guitars by Richard R Smith
