I think Historics are 100/45, so not that much different in terms of height. I don't know, I still have to figure out all out. It's a difficult thing to be able to try out.
Well ya gotta factor in leveling, I only wanted the most minimal of board leveling (almost none), and the frets took the rest.
Don't let nobody level that fretboard.

Now I am REALLY thinking refret on my 52. I cut a track with it on Sunday and it sounds amazing. When I did the solo there were times I had trouble getting under the strings. Not completely hateful, but enough i had to take a couple passes at it when I could have nailed it one or two takes.
Not to worry. Simple surgery for a skilled craftsman...
