Mr. Beef, I just tried the doc links. It works on my PC, not my iPad.

As Antigua mentiones, you need to be able to open it in Word. If you don't have that, let me know, I'll save it as a PDF, and get you a copy.

You would need to print it, write on it, scan it back in, to send it.

Or snail-mail it, if no scanner.

If you load it into Google Drive, it will open there, or Google Docs, which both run in Google Chrome, so if you have Chrome, you don't need any special software. Google Drive / Google Docs might work in Safari, too. I actually have Word installed, and I still open it with Google anyway.

That would be helpful, if you don't mind. I don't know who I can't figure this out. Pretty sure you have my email address. Thank you!

If you go on bare knuckles website you can build your own pickups in double cream and have them shipped to the us for $12.00.

    It's a trademark, not a patent.

As far as SD goes, this is what is under the covers of my SD Skinnerburst pickups:

FYI ..Word is not the only program that will "open that and many other docs...

I stopped paying to buy a new version of "Word" ,everytime MS "upgrades" @ $100 a pop , ~ after so many years it's crazy(IMO) . Look for a "open source " program .
Works as good and I found it on Ebay for $5.00( I think you can download it for free ....And it upgrades for free and still works as good as that other program

United States Trademark. As a Canadian building in Canada, I can do the double cream as can anyone else non US.

Colors can be Trademarked other places but it pertains to a specific color not a general range; for example, John Deere has their particular shade of green TM'd. For this one to have passed I think LD got lucky in that they didn't make him specify the shade.

If anything, the Dimarzio color is more a 'Barbie Leg Pink' than a cream, but according to this TM that doesn't matter.

Perhaps in Canada they do, but their Green is not protected by Trademark in the US. It was found Functional in the 1980's.

By the way, I just now learned that Dimrzio is trying this once again, with the blade-pole design

Not to get side tracked here but I use Open Office. It is open source and it's free. Works great, I have been using it for years with no issues.

Imagine if car companies worked this way? You want a silver car? Gotta buy Mercedes. Or sneaker manufactures? You want these Nikes in black? Sorry, Adidas only sell black sneakers. Utter lunancy.

DiMarzio didn't invent the humbucker. They didn't come up with the cream colour. They weren't the first to use the double cream bobbins together. That Gibson, when they did the Page replica, weren't able to use double cream - despite them just trying to reissue their own product - was ridiculous.

If that were my guitar, I'd replace the bridge pickup with something more historically accurate, but it wouldn't be a DiMarzio, that's for sure. Despite having bought plenty of aftermarket pickups, I have never, and will never, buy one of their products.

BINGO ,,,,,,:laugh2: Works great for everything I need it to do too ....
I'm guessing "blade pickups" are the next "thing" coming up ? :applause:
Where is Gibson in all of this ??? something (in my ,mind anyway ) doesn't add up .

Ask Ford to paint a car Ferrari Red .... See what they say ....
It's just That RED you can't have . But they make lots of RED cars every year ...

IMO, Gibson needs to be a part of an action , since , I believe they had/have the biggest skin in that game .... But build a guitar with a G headstock and see how fast you get a C&D order from them ... Little guy=easy, Big Guy ...give it to them and pay them to use what was/is more or less originally yours ...:applause:
Makes sense ..Another Good Job , well done ...:thumb:

A defense attorney just contacted me and I may be receiving a subpoena and ordered to give a deposition. I didn't expect that! I am just a hobbyist guitar player who likes to modify my gear. I will most likely lose time and money at work and have to travel up to 120 miles away. I like Dimarzio pickups and have a set. Dang!

We (the petitioner) would not subpoena you, if that's what was implied. We're very grateful you took the time to submit a declaration, and hope that more people will as well.
