    From the listing:
    When this guitar came in from the factory, there was a significant finish flaw on the top. The authorized refurbished seized the opportunity to have some fun with this one and gave the top a dazzling custom Copper Sparkle paint job! No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from the custom paint job, it looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.

    I've never heard of any refinish made on a refurbished Epi

    I haven't either, Peter. The top must've been really bad.

    I believe its real. It would be real easy to verify... pull the pickups and look at them and the pickup route. The tuners look right.

    It should be less than $599. I am skeptical of its origins.
