Walmart bans woman who rode cart while drinking wine from Pringles can

I wish they were making this stuff up, but no...

Police in Texas received a strange call on Friday that involved a woman drinking wine in the parking lot of a Walmart.

Employees at the store in Wichita Falls had asked officers to ban the woman after she had been drinking wine from a Pringles can for several hours as she rode around on an electric cart.

The incident reportedly began just after 9 a.m., when officers received a call about a suspicious person in the parking lot.

The woman was reportedly riding around on an electric shopping cart that's generally used by people with physical limitations.

She was also drinking wine from a Pringles can.

Police said they were told that the woman had been riding around the parking lot since 6:30 a.m. while drinking the wine.

When officers arrived, they found the woman at a nearby restaurant and notified her that she'd been banned from the Walmart.

Holy shit. Riding around Walmart since 6:30am. On a scooter. Drinking wine. From a Pringle’s can. That’s amazing.

So that’s what it takes to be perma-banned from Wally World? I was wondering where the line was. :hmm:

Pringles can makes sense. Think of all the lost flavour around the perimeter.

I have to wonder, did she have a wine bottle in the can trying to hid it while drinking from it?

The only way that I am drinking wine at 6:30am is if I am still up from the night before and that is only happening with another sort of party favor. As for the Pringle's can, isn't it a little snobby to be putting down her choice of stemware?

When I read "wait for it" the first thing that came to my mind was "banned for wearing normal clothes and not being morbidly obese?"

I think the real problem here was that the woman was using a cart reserved for those with disabilities, thus denying those who should be using it the ability to use it. The wine thing in the morning I just don't get.

Walmart has no shortage of people using those carts who have no business in them.

As for "wine in the morning".... how dare you assume what is "morning" to her. ;)

Let's talk about the Pringles can..... was she concealing a bottle in the can to avoid open-container laws (the junk-food version of a brown-paper bag), or was she using the can as a cup? Using it as a cup would add much more humor to this story.

Also, why does this woman not live in Florida where she belongs?
