There are some very strange people on this planet. The human mind is a complex thing nobody really understands, but some minds are more mysterious that others!

Yup. The luthiers, Gibson historians, and collectors who are members here know screw all about guitars. At least according to ol' Les Paw...

Not related to Charlie Sheen is he?

I thought Les Paw said at least a 1/2 a dozen times that he would never, ever sell Waldo ??

Now it's been up on Ebay twice.

    That is one strange dude.

He came around to "shake the tree" alright, his whole scheme was to try to drive up interest then dump it on some unsuspecting schlep that drank waldo's coolaide!

    Pump-and-dump

he offers a 3 day money back refund.. But if you pay via paypal and pickup an item you can't get buyer protection,
so the person thinks that they get a refund in 3 days and they are not covered under the protection policy.. no refunds on picked ups..

he's selling as a GIBSON NOW!!! (FROM THE EBAY LISTING)

"This is an AUTHENTIC Gibson Les Paul as verified by GIBSON.... How do you like it???? Big dissapoint for wannabes?? Isn't he just awe inspiring?? Though he has had much work done to him and endured changes over the many years"

The most interesting part of this guitar's history is that it was already sold as a '59 for a ridiculous amount of money (does anyone recall the exact amount?). It sure does have a story behind it. I am and am not surprised that he's listed it as a Gibson. Send him a PM asking for written confirmation from Gibson on that point and I'll bet you $1.00 he sends you a reply that you no longer have bidding privileges. Like the soup Nazi of replica Les Pauls - "No Waldstein for you!"

Similar looking guitar, but not this one IIRC. They ARE related though...

"Micheal has an open offer to me to buy it back at ANY time. Do not listen to some of the nuts out there. I have many friends that send me email stating what some say... As I said before, you are well advised to steer away from these sites... Good luck to you people... Forever WALDSTEIN! I will include a cavity shot that some have been asking for a bit later...."

Open offer to buy it back?..... probably because he can't sell it cuz it is a fake and micheal doesn't want to get sued.

This will get shut down I bet.

Its was axe because i came to an arrangement with the owner, its is ours now to dissect.:laugh2:

No, just kidding, this was expected as the seller claimed it was a real Gibson when we all know it is not, so is a false claim and expected to be removed.
