    So I have a nux OD-3 pedal which was my 2nd pedal I've ever bought 5 years ago. Looking to upgrade it now because I'm looking for a better quality pedal though the nux had done its job quite well...

    My current drives and distortion pedals are in order of

    Nux OD 1 --> Bad Monkey --> DS-1 JCM Modded --> DS-1 CSG Mod/Blues Driver

    I swap out the Blues Driver with the other DS-1 from time to time so yea...

    My drive pedals are normally use to boost my distortions rather than the amp itself since my amp is at breakup point while pedal distortion are enough to give me a high gain sound. My OD pedals tends to be on the cleaner side of boost.

    I'm looking at several pedals and would like to seek all of your inputs. Considering price to value, these are pedals I'm considering and prices in SGD new

    * 1 SGD = 0.74 USD

    1) TC Electronics MoJoMoJo - SGD 79 (Paul Gilbert uses them so what could go wrong lol)

    2) Ibanez TS9 - SGD 110++ (I can't find it on the online store for my local distributor so it's arnd there)

    3) Ibanez TS7C - SGD 99 (I never tried these before... seems ok to me but ugly af)

    4) Fulltone OCD - SGD 160 Used (It has always been raved everywhere so why not)

    Out of the pedals you are looking at, I would go with the "trusty rusty" TS9. But, I would definitely recommend taking a look at an EHX Soul Food before purchasing any of those.

    Can't respond to all of those however I did buy and now have sitting on the shelf the Mojomojo. Of course there are prolly thousands that love it but for me it's a nononono
    lol
    TS9 's are fine if you're into the Tube Screamer thing. Have one and it's also on the shelf. lol
    The OCD is prolly the most popular of all.. so many players use them. I haven't got one though.

    I love my hardwire cm-2. They don't make them any more but you can find them cheap used and they are basically a better sounding tube screamer, made like a boss unit - but better!

    I have a Joyo OCD knock-off- quite decent, but I actually use a Mythical
    OD- a Klon clone. Both are more transparent than a TS. If you like a TS, by all means.... the Soul Food seems to be the trend of the week. It is a solid choice.

    The Ibanez Tubescreamer is so similar to your NUX you probably don't need it.

    The Mojomojo has a very unique sound. Very thick bass but in a pleasant way. You either love it or hate it.

    OCD probably the most versatile from your list.

    Bring your guitar to the basement of Excelsior Shopping Center and try them all out!

    I have the TC Mojo Mojo.
    It's pretty cool...I guess....I am not a regular overdrive user..

    But from clips I heard and looked into:
    Bad Monkey is basically a tube screamer circuit with a bass control, so I'd take that over any of TS series.
    The Digitech Hardwire sounded really good (actually thinking about getting one) one one of the "shootout" videos

    I don't use my Soul Food as an overdrive, I use it to make my amp sound better (it's always on). But, if your looking for a good pedal to kick on when it's "gametime", it's a tube screamer on steroids.

    I've read up about EHX Soul Food and considering that too...

    So now it boils down to

    TC MojoMojo
    EHX Soul Food

    Both are priced at a similar pricing and for pedals to boost distortion signal, which is better considering my other OD is a DigiTech Bad Monkey.

    Lately I've been using a Blues Driver (set mild) right in front of Bad Monkey (all but the Vol cranked) into a clean amp with really surprising results. YMMV.

    A Blues Driver into a Soul Food is such a good sound.

    My new favorite is a Soul Food as well.. Cant say enough for this pedal buy itself and/or layering with other drives (Compressor-ts9-soul food-Delay) is just incredible..

    No experience with the Mojo-Mojo, but from your list, definitely the Fulltone OCD is a must-try OD pedal.
