They look similar, but the swirling is a bit different. YOur look like the Uncle Lou reg stock, which do go for 40 bucks, either on the parts drawer ebay store or from HM Retro-Spec Accessories where I bought these from.
The premium ones are pretty close looking, but there is a reason that thay cost so much more, as someone has to pick through the batch and select the tighter less transparant ones for the "pick of the litter" so to speek.

The only reason I bought the premium ones was becasue they were on sale.

The Flash in the first pic obviously makes them look more yellow.

1969 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty :

Replaced original knobs with Speed Knobs
Replaced original T-tops for Dimarzio PAF&PAFpro
    Replaced original tuners with Grovers
Refretted original Fretless Wonder with Jumbos

Was going to refinish but was wisely talked out of it by the Luthier at the time.

GC exculsive 1968 RI Les Paul Custom :

    Sheilded cavities

I know, it wouldn't be something i'd want to get into until I would be able to afford some old wood.

My goal, for the future, is to either find a lifton already with a late 50's Jr, or find one to use for a Jr that i'd buy down the road.
And I know that price wise i'm looking at 3 to 5 times the price of a new R9, if i'm lucky.

...I would like to get a Lifton for my '60 Special,as the cheap alligator case is no good for transporting...but I currently have other priorities.
