Isn't that Dave Hill's Super Yob? (Slade)
I like that one, it looks nice to me.
Chambered explorer and V? I had no idea. At least it's obvious.!
Hatter, I love that Strat!
And those PRSs aren't too bad.
Those new N-225s, well, I admit they're ugly, but I really like them, especially the natural one. I know, what's wrong with me!
Not sure if it's already been posted. Andreas Shark
Almost anything from DBZ looks hideous.
Someone dig my eyes out with a tablespoon, eh?
I'm a little surprised no one has posted one of these....unless I missed it.
It was made by a company called Kapa. I had one of these as my first electric guitar. It never work but I got it for free and learned all the basic/open chords on it....it's a wonder I stuck with playing LOL.
Many of these guitars are so ugly they become awesome. Love this thread.
I saw a doc on netflix about Bob Marley, and I believe Peter Tosh was playing one of these for most of it lol.
Found this little beauty the other day, kijiji special. Not sure of the maker.
Its not the guitar shape so much as the factory paint job!
My 80's Martin Stinger SRX
Seriously ugly, completely impractical for the use they were intended for but extremely well-made and considered to be the rarest and most collectable of the G&L family - The mid 80s Interceptor. There was actually an even more rare Stratish body shape but the X-bodies are ones worth the $$. I do think the sickle headstock is the best of the 4 G&L headstock shapes though.
How about my Telemaster?
I don't know why, but I'd really like to try one of these.
Doesn't really compare to some gems in here though.
It's funny, I have examples of many of the guitars in this thread, I really like the unusual and why be a sheep right ? One man's ugly is another man's beauty and vice versa.
My Vox teardrop bass - don't have it now
