I'm sorry. I don't know what I could have possibly done to offend you this way, but please....enough with the cold air. It was 18 degrees last night in my little patch of the swamp. i tried to go into my shop today, and it was so cold my nose actually started burning.

I already saw a post from skyjerk, but was wondering. how cold is it in your shop these days?

    Happy New year anyway.

My shop is at 15 degrees! But seeing as this is Canada we are metric that is Celsius. That would be about 60 degrees F. I have a nice little oil heater in there and it's on it's lowest setting. Also the relative humidity is about 40%. Now outside is a different story. Right now it is about 15 degrees F outside and it says it's 69% RH but I suspect that is incorrect. In my house it's probably about 25% RH. Again the shop has a small humidifier in it to keep it at the optimal humidity and temp.

    Cheers Peter.

Shovelled the drive this morning. -13 Celsius. That's 8 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Shop is always room temp.

yeh, well obviously, i was talking fahrenheit. It's funny that many places further north than I am are considerably 'warmer'. Hope you guys fare the winter well.

    room temperature....that's good freddy.

Single digits in Fahrenheit here. My “shop” is a partially finished craw space under the main level of my duplex.

Luckily, it’s within about 10° of my living space. Probably due to inefficient ducting :rofl:but I’ll take it.

I'm not from Canadia, however to qualify, my Mid-Atlantic US temperature is 10 F this morning. The aforementioned Maple Leafs last won the Stanley Cup in 1967 BTW

Was 6 F. again this morning at my place. Not quite -500 F.
No danger of Toronto winning the cup.

Yesterday morning on the way to work, the thermometer in the car read 4 degrees. It's not supposed to get that cold in North Carolina, even in the mountains.

Las Vegas has seen unusually high temps of only dropping below 60 a couple times since the summer! And it's so dry that even cars stripped to bare metal can be left outdoors and not rust!

I was down in the south for a bit while I was in the Navy. I'll bet 30 degrees is a killer.
