Keep in mind how the real one got like that. It was dropped, leaned against the amp on the floor, etc. I'd use methods to simulate those sort of things, to hopefully make it look authentic.

Too me a few years, but finally!!!! Ended up being a 2013 American Vintage '59 Strat. The relicing was done by Cam at Custom Guitar Works in Melbourne VIC. Big thanks to him. Love this guitar to death!!!

I agree.I think fake ,aging and relicing is stupid. Then you have a fake beat up guitar with no story and its not real(i guess unless your deluded)

I think it would be funny seeing a guy with a 4k custom shop relic saying "please don't knock over guitar" ha ha

In my opinion your guitar should express your personality.NOT FAKE ONE.

The best musicians are real ,not walking around with a fake, aged guitars.

Belive me,you will love your guitar more when each of the "dings etc" has a story and actually did happen and will bring back memories instead of," i this ding i did with a art knife whilst watching America idol on tv and "this ding i did with a set of keys whilst i was in my shed watching youtube on how to distress my guitar.!!! FFS.

This comment will show my age ,but what is wrong with these fake people. relics did not appear until approx gen 0(born 2004-2014)thank f@#k.

Are people going to paint on black eye's as well?
