Beautiful What amp did you use, mate?
2008 Peavey Bandit 112
here is my Hugel 59
Very nice, I got the replica bug a few years back. I got one, and another is finishing up being built. Don't you just love em? Rock on!
That's a sweet guitar!
I am sure Thomas Hugel will be thrilled & positively overjoyed at having his name mentioned in this thread............especially since Gibson reads through this Forum on what we believe is a regular basis.
Gibson has never won a cease and desist lawsuit...they lose em all because, well they are losers.
Who cares about Gibson lol
Nice axes, nice videos, they sound great.
Well you’re wrong. Most small Luthiers do not have the money to go to Court to win their case.
That is a fact & because of this some Luthiers lose out.
But hey, it’s not my livelihood & yeah I totally get it that people can’t think for themselves.
Let me ask you this, how many commercial legal cases have you fought in Court?
I have been involved in quite a few, pretty much won them all but the bills will make your eyes water & I’m not kidding. So whether you win or lose you will lose time & money.
You should ask Frank Pine what he thinks, among others.
Nice looking guitars, Blakey and great playing as always but I was totally distracted by those awesome strides!!!
Thanks for sharing, mr. Blake. Those are gorgeous fiddles. They sound amazing with your great playing.
I do hope mr. Hugel won't get into trouble though.
So instead of voicing your concern in a professional manner, you resort to being condescending and sarcastic?
Absolutely..............& why do I do I do that, because no one seems to take any notice of the general comments & rules on / of this Forum. It is like comprehension seems to be a little beyond some members & I mean that in the nicest possible way.
All you have to do is read through some of the Threads & read the Rules...........they are there for a reason & because the owner of this Forum thinks they are necessary.
If you went to the bother, then you will know that Gibson Open Book Head Stock Shots are not allowed on this Forum, for a variety of reasons. I actually respect that. I own Replicas, I have posted pics here but you won't see me showing HS shots or naming the freaking builders.
It is just common sense despite the "euphoria"' of a NGD................& that lovely HS Pan in the YT Video, that was entertaining.
So yeah, that is how I tend to voice my opinion these days.
If you object to that / my views, then you have several options. You can point it out, as you did, or even have some fun winding me up about it. I'm good for that too.
Not into winding anyone up, there is enough of that childish bullshit here. I got my answer, I'm satisfied.
Willy's on the beer tonight, looks like he's getting a little tangly!!
deleted the vids, have a good day.
I posted the vids because he was trying to move that Page les Paul, he has only built 2 replicas and I have one, hes a very small time amazing luthier and he asked If I could help him move that guitar, so I thought this would be the best place.. If Gibson really wanted to pursue that over 1 guitar then whatever. I see the point. Gibson will NEVER produce a guitar with the same pride and love these days, I'll take the replica. It's a real Gibson, the way they were INTENDED to be built, just not built by Gibson. LOL. (still doesn't make it right) I know.
I don't have a problem with that video....as for the headstock, who cares.
If I'm having a replica built the headstock logo will be: Priapism - Super Hardon Model. Horn shape will be very round.
