Just imagine a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400, carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, And every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do ? Draw out every cent of course! Well MLP, everyone has such a bank, its name is time.

Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, whatever of this you failed to invest to good puropse. It carries no balance. It allows no overdraft. Easch day it opens a new account for you. Each night, it burns the records of the day.

if you fail to use the days deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against tomorrow. You must live on today's deposits.
invest it so as to get from it the upmost in health, happiness and sucess!
The clock is running. Make the most of today.

so..to realize the value of a year, ask a student who failed a grade.
to realize the value of one month, just ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
to realize the value of one week, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
to realize the value of one hour, ask the lovers that are waiting to meet.
to realize the value of one minute, ask someone that just missed the train.
to realize the value of one second, ask someone that just avoided an accident!
To realize the value of a tiny mili-second, ask the person who just won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have, and treasure it because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.

remember this, time waits for no one. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery.
today is a gift. Thats why they call it the present.

laugh it off or pay attention. Its all you have is time.

As I get older, I value time more than money.

I'm starting to relate to that scene at the end of Blade Runner,
where the android, at death, just wants everything to live, even Deckard.

B, that is what I want. I like the "whole ball of wax." Be the best ---------- you can be, do not half-bake. I see many not fulfilling their destiny. If you are a CLOWN.....CLOWN it up. We need fools, drunks, killlers......POETS,Lovers, BAD R+R GUITARISTS!.......without these life would be dull. Dull is the worst. Serve somebody.

Time is not a linear thing; it's an acceptance of the sun's electromagnetrical forces.

I think I'd be an ideal prisoner. Time is worthless to me.

At very soon to be 71, and with Tom Petty's recent passing (as he mused on the next few years - see the last interview with him only days before he passed), this really takes on some relevance. In the grand scheme of things, all things being equal, I really don't have enough time left to get everything done that I'd like to, so time to start making all moments count. Thanks for the post and the kick in the a$$. You younger folks pay some attention!!

As do I, and I'm at the point where I pay extra $ for convenience. Uber Eats for an extra $5, or drive there and back in 30-45 minutes? Take my money.
