Time for a Navigator & Edwards related thread I say...well that and a request by Harold :D!
Been loads of Edwards threads as of late so why not toss em in here, eh?

Copy & pasted from the Burny thread because I am lazy: :thumb:

Another unique thread where anyone and everyone can jump in without guilt or frustration of derailing and post pics, discuss ideas, and generally theorize the dates, models, pots, cavities, pickups, and anything else related to ESP (Edwards & Navigators) then the other NGD or specific question based threads could stay on topic to the OP's post and question(s).

So start posting anything ESP related ya jerks!
Got pics, questions, and theories then slap em down in here and let's keep this thread bumped up unless someone would be kind enough to sticky it?

This is my one and only, which is on Ebay au right now ( shamless plug:D ), the only reason i'm selling is to make way for its big brother:thumb:.

Sweet lord that looks a million years old... In a good way.

If I may ask, how much should someone pay to get such a Navigator?

ROFL...Harold is close to being correct on that one
We are sad bunch eh Wulf?

Generally these LTD Navi's sell used on yahoo from 140 to 300K Yen
I happened to open Yahoo JUST as this was listed at a stupid BIN price and didn't hesitate
The pics were not the best but I could see some nice flame and took a chance
Came with the original nice hard case too
I requested Rinkya to post some back pics for me, hopefully those will show up

Yeah because they made the rings out of brittle plastic with not enough curve I suspect
I guess as the plastic ages it just gets brittle
Perhaps they use a lot of ozone generators there or just cigarette smoke?

Is this something they generaly do? when and how should you make such a request?
I'd be interested to see pics of the case too if you have em.

all I know is I've seen more cracked rings & heavily aged yellowed guitars from there.

Yeah you just submit a ticket to Rinkya for photos, they do it for free
The case is a very nicely padded Lifton style.
Back ramp, dual neck support, etc.
    Here it is here:

udo, can we have a full on, straight on "top photo" ala Beauty of the Burst style, with just enough manipulation to see it as close as possible to it's true colors, definition? It's been awhile since I had to cleanup and solve color prob's for colors etc with PS, so I know what you're doing. If I recall correctly, you're actually adding noise to the photo to get it "popping" like that.

At least a straight on shot, and maybe a real good angle shot to see how good the carve is.

(looks like you had to apply some oil to the board as well, must've been bone dry)

Of course...they use a cheap point and shoot so the colours, white balance, and definition are not great.
Photoshopping them brings out the true life in the pics.
I do not make mine look like slides or water damaged shots however ;)
I am pretty sure you do they same to all of yours but via an iPhone app instead, right?
Besides, the case pic JDB referred to was the auction seller cell phone photo, not a Rinkya pic.

    @ TB
Those are shots I got this morn from Rinkya
Not taken by me and I do not have any direct full frontal shots unfortunately
I asked them for a full frontal and rear as I got no pics of the back.
Hopefully I will get some more.
