    here's my next project, stradivarius type that will fit into a les paul case, this is going to be kind of a slow build

    got the body routed so far

    this mahogany has a great tap ring thing, i'll make the neck from the same piece of wood, on the hunt for something nice for the top

    hollow out the sides of the mahogany leaving the center solid and have real F holes.

    Original and scary cool!

    You're gonna need a tummy cut on the back for comfort with that detail on the side.....

    I would certainly play that guitar.

    I caught a few of your builds over at tdpri. The tools, guitars, parts, etc. you come up with are fantastic!

    Awesome....I wish I had thought of that! Needs an ebony fingerboard, needless to say. And you might want to install violin style purfling (or better yet viola or even cello for scale):

    What's the plan for the headstock, a violin type scroll, or some sort of cross between violin and normal LP?

    probably, over flame maple

    thats the plan, chambered with real f holes

    yeah, still thinking about that

    ebony for sure

    i have two different headstock designs so far, scroll for sure
