There is a free trial. Did you not try that first?? I have had problems with "cloud" presets doing what you describe. If you don't have everything licensed, some of the cloud presets won't work properly. You would be better off making your own presets anyway. I have found most of the presets online to be useless.

Good luck. I understand the frustration. I have had intermittent problems with using plugins and is why I went with dedicated hardware! The whole reason they have a trial version is so that you can make sure it works for you before buying!!

    Update:

POsitive Grid refund me 10 days after i purchase BIAS amp professionnal .

Again i have nothing against positive grid .. ive heard amazing result on youtube , i just couldnt achieve them

It's probably my lack of knowledge in setting the whole thing interface , studio monitors etc.. .

ON the other hand i came back to my old Guitar rig 5 and found metallica Impulse Reponse packs and they sound very great , im really surprise of the result .

Anyway great service by Positive Grid , wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again if one day i setup a home studio and get more familiar with amp sim .

I am glad they did that for you. I never could get Guitar Rig to sound good, so you must be doing something right there! Software can be a pain in the butt.

This low cost modeling solution has just about fallen by the wayside.. and for no good reason.

Yeah its too bad really because it has so much potential and can sound really good.
I bought in early and had high hopes but unfortunately Positive Grid does not seem interested in catering to the guitarist that wants a all in one modeling solution. They seem set on making you buy into their products one piece at a time. Most people that go full modeling don't want to carry a pedal board around with all its associated headaches. Until they start listening to their user base i doubt they will gain much more traction out side of the ipad /home user.

I did try out their BIAS Amp 2 version and with the Celestion IRs it sounded really good. I would consider upgrading BiasFX if they include all of that in a version 2.

I've run the demo through the paces, no better or worse than any other quality software amp sims.
bang for buck,, every guitarist with a computer,, should have a couple decent amp simms. quick, easy, amp in a box.

I thought BIAS Amp 2 was waaay better than BIAS Amp - but they both sounded good - you just have to tweak... Speakers and Mic's make a HUGE difference in feel and tone...
