So lately A LOT of guys have been asking about phaez...more than usual. So I thought I would create a thread showing all the stuff you need to know.

Randy Fay is an amp builder in Ontario, Canada whos amps, if you haven't noticed already, are quickly becoming more and more sought after.

-First off here is his website: phaezamp.com
-You can contact him at: Allyq AT cogeco.ca
-The amps are all handwired point to point No PCB boards
-His amps are chassis only but a handcab could be arranged
    -Prices are usually around ~$650
-He does amps from 5 watts to 100
-All of his amps are very touch sensitive. If you like working the knobs on your guitar then these are for you.
-Many of his amps have an option for a second clean channel, either blackface or machless/hotcat.

    Randy has several models including:

    His "daisycutter" model
-Modded Plexi style amp. Does very high gain yes cleans up very well

I bet we still get someone asking in the other thread. These threads are a good idea, but unless someone uses the search function, or the thread is on the first page, well you know. I think there have been two other attempts to do this same thing.
    It's worth a try though.

We'll always get those questions, even if this was a sticky. I figured if I did this we would get them less plus have clips of the amps all in one thread.

Everything under the sun has been covered on here at least once. I think it's great having all the Phaez clips in one spot.

Heck, one thread sources are great. This way you can just drop a link, as opposed to explaining the same thing over and over. Doesn't matter how far it falls, as long as you've got that link handy.

Besides, it got me to listen to all those clips again. ;)

    S-U-B-S-C-R-I-B-E-D!

All sound great in their own way. Tough to pick just one favorite as all the flavors seem to be covered. Great sounding amps, and thank you for consolidating this. :thumb:

Good on you Tuya to putting the videos all in one place. Makes me more edgy to get my hands on the JTM 25 Randy's building for me. :thumb:
