Credit for this thread and the first thread goes to member myinstrument. Remember, if you're the praying type, keep myinstrument in your prayers (or send him good vibes or something) because he was having some serious personal issues before he left MLP.

    Remember:

You must post something free yourself before you can ask for ANYTHING (that has already been posted).

This is not a place for trading, selling, or otherwise doing "business."

Do not ask for something that is not posted.

You cannot ask for anything other than shipping of an item.

Those of you who gave away stuff in the other thread, we know who you are, so don't worry.

And, FYI, the rules were amended. You can offer up non-guitar stuff, because who knows? Your junk could be exactly what someone else is looking for, guitar related or not.

    Have fun and play fair!

Use your local post office, the USPS. Priority mail should be a third of that or less - even that flat rate priority and express options are less than $50.

The PO (USPS) will probably be 5 bucks if you just do the bare minimum shipping. I've done a lot of int'l shipping lately and sometimes it's cheaper than domestic mail. :laugh2:

Just go up to the desk and tell the person that you want to mail the pickguard to Japan. Then tell them that you don't need it there by any particular time and you don't need insurance. Then mark it as a gift on the customs form.

And then there will be peace in the world :)

(P.S. Don't put "Porn and Drugs" on the customs form )

I have about 10 or so Dunlop celluloid picks, mix of pearl white and pearl purple. Medium gauge. I no longer have use for these since I started using heavy picks for pretty much everything.

Fedex is probably the cheapest of the major movers.

I still prefer USPS for pretty much everything... even though I've had stuff stolen/lost more often than not... its just so darn cheap!

I ship guitars UPS/FedEx and usually have them professionally packed.
